The Board exists to regulate Land and Property Valuation practice in Kenya through;
1. Maintaining a Register of all registered valuers,
2. Annually gazetting valuers who are licensed to practice,
3. Regulating the valuation practice in Kenya by ensuring adherence to practice standards,
4. Taking disciplinary action against registered and practicing valuers on cases of malpractice reported to it.
Who can join?
Our membership is open to valuers who meet the professional and ethical standards set by the Board, which is appointed by the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Lands.
As part of raising the quality of our services, we joined international valuers organisation(s) and we are proud to have been recognised through several awards in the Kenya Industry Awards.
The board strives to be a conscientious and progressive professional body, equipped with skills
and knowledge to foster professional excellence in property valuation practice in Kenya.
