The Valuers Registration Board, (VRB), was set up in 1985, via the Valuers Act. The Board exists to regulate the activities and conduct of registered Valuers in accordance with the provisions of this Act.

Our membership is open to Valuers who meet the professional and ethical standards set by the Board, which is appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Land. Since its inception, VRB has served millions of Kenyans by ensuring that they can value private and commercial land and property fairly and competitively.

We are headquartered in Ministry of Lands, Ardhi House, Nairobi, and our current membership stands at 766 with members spread out over nationally. As part of raising the quality of our services, we have partnered with Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) among other institutions.
